This painting is near and dear to me. A lot of love went into it's creation. The painting is of a hostel in Barcelona, Spain. The hostel was falling apart, missing stairs, leaky ceilings and warped floors and walls. The rickety doors of the balcony are open letting in the sultry, salty Spanish air. There is a little red bird hidden in the tree branches.
